Picking the right mattress for you online can be a tricky choice and one not to be taken lightly. There’s no better feeling than sleeping on the perfect mattress, and that’s what our 60-night comfort promise intends to help you achieve.

Like a new pair of shoes, mattresses can take a bit of getting used to. Not feeling as comfortable as you hoped? Too firm? Too Soft? Perhaps you’ve just fallen out of love with your mattress? Let us know within 60 days, and we will replace your mattress with an alternative mattress of your choice. To activate your 60-night sleep trial, you must purchase a mattress protector with your eligible mattress

Don’t get caught out; please make sure your mattress is eligible and protected with the following guidelines:

  • Purchase and use a mattress protector from us, to go with your new mattress.
  • You regularly turn or rotate the mattress (depending on if the mattress is one or double-sided).
  • The mattress must not be stained or soiled upon return and must be in resellable condition.

How to make a claim

If you wish to exchange your mattress within the sleep trial period, please email sleeptrial@mattressman.co.uk between day 30 and day 60 of your sleep trial period.

In the email please include your full name, delivery address and original order number. If you know which mattress you would like to exchange to please include these details.

Our sleep trial team will contact you within three working days to discuss and arrange the next steps in finding your great night’s sleep.

Terms and Conditions

  • Where a mattress protector hasn’t been purchased, our standard terms and conditions apply, and the 60 night sleep trial is not applicable.
  • If you have not purchased a mattress protector, once the hygiene seal has been broken, it cannot be returned unless the product is faulty.
  • You must advise us that you wish to exchange your mattress between day 30 and 60 days from the delivery date.
  • You must have purchased and used a Mattressman mattress protector with your new mattress (soiled, stained or damaged mattresses will not be exchanged).
  • The mattress must be used on a fully assembled divan bed or bed frame with evenly placed slats.
  • You can only exchange your mattress for a mattress of the same size.
  • If you reselect a more expensive mattress, you must pay the difference.
  • We cannot make any refund if you reselect a less expensive mattress (the difference can not be made up with additional products).
  • If you have purchased a divan/bed frame or set with your new mattress, we will only exchange the mattress.
  • Mattresses being returned must be packaged prior to collection. Packaging will be provided by Mattressman.
  • This sleep trial does not cover adjustable, cot, special sized or sofa bed mattresses. Products from the Vispring range are also excluded.
  • If you decide to exchange the mattress for a new one, the sleep trial is not transferred over, and we do not provide another sleep trial on your reselection
  • Applies to UK mainland residents only.
  • Mattressman reserves the right to inspect and refuse any returning mattresses for reasons stated above before delivery of the new alternative mattress commences.
  • There is no collection fee but it must be Mattressman or one of our approved couriers who collects the mattress.
  • The Sleep trial allows for a replacement mattress only, we will not refund the cost of your mattress to you at the end of the trial.
