This is described as medium firm and I think that is fairly consistent with what we have experienced. It is very deep with decent support but the generous comfort layers do allow a certain amount of sinking in feeling. We feel well supported. No back pain since we got this. No noisy springs when you move. Can't fault it really. It does leave impressions in our sleeping positions but that is normal according to Hypnos. We are rotating and flipping weekly at the moment to minimise this. So far seems warmer that our old one which will be good for winter.
