Ottoman storage
The platform top ottoman base features easy-to-use pneumatic springs which can be fitted to open on either the left or right-hand side of the bedstead, giving you that extra flexibility. This is especially useful in bedrooms that are limited by space. There is plenty of storage space inside so you can keep your bedroom clean, tidy, and stylish all at the same time.
The gas piston strength on this frame is 85 N and can support mattresses up to the weight of 65kg. The maximum weight load for the 4'6 frame is 300 kg, the 5' frame is 400 kg, and the 6' frame is 450 kg.Please note: Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard-size mattress and the recommended maximum mattress height is 200 mm. The mattress needs to be on the bed for the pistons to work.
